General Rules
What you need to know before coming to the Consulate-General:

• Double check the required documentation;
• Note that many services require filling out forms, which can be downloaded at the site and completed in advance;
• Plan ahead: Don’t request the service in the last minute. Passports, for example, may be renewed up to six months before its expiry. Find out about jurisdiction, address, and hours to the public.
• There is no emergency fee: the documents are processed in the order they are received.
